VAC Dinner and Awards Evening 2018
This was held at Shuttleworth House on Saturday 10th March 2018
What an amazing weekend at Shuttleworth House! It was so good to see so many of you and the Dinner and Awards evening was totally splendid! Thank you again to Peter and Christine Wright for being the people who were behind the organisation of the event. Thank you too to Geraldine O'Meara for taking on the Raffle which raised £507.05 for VAC club funds. John Broad took photos as two of our regular photographers, Michael Miklos and Paul Morton, were among our award winners. Congratulations to all the other award winners and if you were unable to attend the dinner we will arrange to present your award at a mutually agreeable time. Thank you to Rob and Vivienne Stobo for organising that! Huge thanks too to our guest speaker "Dodge" Bailey for a fascinating talk about Richard Shuttleworth. Thanks to Dodge and Bob Richardson for talking to us around the Sopwith Camel on Sunday morning and to the Bristol Scout Team for their demo of how to start the Bristol Scout! Phew!!
